History

In 1998, Auburn Crane and Rigging opened its doors for business, but Steve’s passion for the crane and rigging business started with his dad. Steve’s dad was the senior master mechanic and crane operator for Syracuse Rigging Company, and as a young boy Steve would go to work with his father and grew to love the business. After graduating from high school, Steve joined the operator’s union and officially began his apprenticeship. Throughout his 4 years of apprentice school and up to 1998, Steve also work for Syracuse Rigging.

In 1998, Steve decided it was time to channel this passion into starting his own crane and rigging business. With one 35-ton crane and a desire to please his new customers, Auburn Crane and Rigging began doing business.

In 2015, Auburn Crane and Rigging opened a second crane office in Gouverneur, NY, to service Farley Crane’s customers as Farley exited the market. 2015 also marked the start of Molior Crane, a sister company of Auburn Crane and Rigging, and a WBE registered company owned by Joanna Bilinski.

Today, Auburn Crane and Rigging’s leadership team is comprised of individuals from the field to office that have decades of experience in the crane and rigging business. It is this experience, along with our fleet of cranes, fork trucks & support equipment, that allows us to serve our customers.

This passion and experience drives us every day to serve our customers.

Thank you,
